[:sk]Interiérové návrhy Kolomana Mosera sa objavujú ako súčasť konceptu Gesamtkunstwerk – teda úplného umeleckého diela – ktorý presadzovala Secesia. Hoci bol vyučený ako maliar, práve z tohto dôvodu sa od roku 1898 obracia chrbtom k povrchu plátna, aby dobyl tretí rozmer. Výsledkom sú vzrušujúce a všestranné riešenia – nielen pre interiéry, ale aj pre celý obor umenia a remesiel.

Vo svojej prednáške sprievodnej k výstave KOLOMAN MOSER: Univerzálny umelec medzi Gustavom Klimtom a Josefom Hoffmannom sa hosťujúci kurátor Christian Witt-Dörring bude venovať úlohe Kolomana Mosera ako interiérového dizajnéra.

 [:en]Koloman Moser’s interior designs emerge as part of the concept of the Gesamtkunstwerk – that is, the total work of art – advocated by the Secession. Although he was trained as a painter, it was precisely for this reason that, beginning in 1898, he turned his back on the canvas to conquer the third dimension. The result is exciting and versatile solutions – not only for interiors, but for the entire field of arts and crafts.

In his lecture accompanying the exhibition KOLOMAN MOSER: A Universal Artist Between Gustav Klimt and Josef Hoffmann, guest curator Christian Witt-Dörring will focus on Koloman Moser’s role as an interior designer.
