The vase, the container or the decorative bowl reveals the innovative approach of Silvia Sukopova in using the FDM printing technology for fabricating collectible design objects. Focusing on the research of novel visuality and inventing unusual methods of the 3d printing, Sukopova demonstrates the new way of producing 3d printed objects using Rainbow Layered Material method, where translucent shells of various colors are 3d printed separately and conjunct together to achieve the object with gradient color changing upon lighting conditions and the angle of the view. It’s a simple process resulting in an unexpected visuality of the 3d printed object.

Every bowl is precisely hand drawn by the author herself, 3d modeled, 3d printed and combined into final piece, where imperfect hand drawings joint with the generally flawless 3d printing process, that result in the collectible object of Rainbow bowl – the unique numbered object, that is part of the larger collection of Rainbow bowls Limited.
